Two-Year Old
Your two-year-old is rapidly developing into a competent, independent child ready to face new challenges. Our excellent program is designed to meet, support and develop your child’s emerging skills. Our curriculum develops essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Preschool/Kindergarten
Nurture your child’s interest in learning by exploring language, including reading and writing, mathematics, sensorial, practical life competency skills, and studying plants, animals, geography, land and water forms, and continents and oceans in a culturally inclusive environment.
Summer School
Marine Animals, Spiders, and Insects are this summer’s great particular focus. We look at living insects, animals, and their habitats, three-dimensional models, puzzles to put together, books galore to read, and arts and crafts are just a part of the experiences the children will have this summer.

A big shoutout to Ms. Amela! She is an outstanding teacher and her experience in Montessori methodology clearly shows. My oldest was able to read, write and do basic arithmetic before kinder thanks to her. And we are lucky to have her for our second child as well. She communicates well with parents and has an authentic concern for the child education and development.

My son is now 4 and in the past year he's attended Montessori of San Leandro, he's improved so much in his drawing, writing, and letter recognition (including their sounds). He writes his name independently and is practicing other letters, too. He also knows simple math concepts and can do very basic math problems, like adding and subtracting single digits. He's happy, confident, making friends, and learning so much. Though our communication with the school is not frequent, I find that any email or question I have is answered immediately.
